April 2, 2015, Longs Pass

We'd hoped to ski Earl but of course it appeared to have not much snow left so we drove to the end of Teanaeay road and headed up Ingalls way trail.  We only had to walk 500' of vertical then skinned all the way to a col into Ingalls creek. I got to use both micro spikes and ski crampons.

From the col we skied 5" of settled powder on a smooth firm base in a bowl for about 600'. Then we skinned out and up the ridge toward Ingalls peak for another drop into Ingalls creek about 900'.  Blue skies, a few puffy clouds, and light wind.    https://vimeo.com/124057198   https://vimeo.com/124057589

Nice looking day guys. I think I've skied that same gully but much later in the year!
