March 27, 2015 Snowbasin,UT

We skied here almost 2 weeks ago and we can see that the snow pack has really melted. You would not want to ski off piste, but the groomed trails are beautiful. Snow machines make the skiing wonderful and prolong the season. We just check the trail map with the snowflake on the runs and there were great groomers. A couple of days ago they had a small storm that freshened the area. On the Strawberry Express Gondola we noticed 2 skiers in Sisters Bowl skiing some interesting steep chute lines with powder. It was another sunny day with corn at 9am. The shady areas were still firm until 10am. The 2 gondolas each provide 2000' runs. A great day using our Timberline Powder Alliance Fusion passes which allowed us free lift tickets. We're now heading west and back home.
