Went up for a sunset lap via the summer trail Wednesday evening and found perfect cold boot top+ :) After a headlamp walk out, we stayed at the snow free parking lot then marched back to the ridge in the a.m. We had high hopes of another pow day, but the warming and wet conditions overnight turned the snowpack upside down with some wind affect/loading. The sky unloaded sideways pineapples at us as we somewhat gingerly made our way to about 150' below the ridge highpoint where the winds really got angry. We quickly transitioned and skied some serious mank back down.
