Backcountry below 9500' has not frozen for a couple days so the choice today was skinning the closed Snow King area. Nice 360 degree views of the Tetons, Jackson Hole, Teton Pass, and I suppose even Pebble Creek if one knew where to look. Nice 1/2" corn skinning and skiing with a couple dozen locals. Light breeze, lots of sun at noon, clouding over by 3pm. Rain forecast tomorrow, gotta figure out where to avoid it!
