Did the south facing 1600' boot pack up Glory Mountain with an old Seattle pal who now lives in Jackson. 15-20 mph breeze on this overcast day in the open above 9500' kept the corn firm. We skied W and N facing to Calvert's ridge for 600' of light dust, then 1/2" corn, before the challenging isothermal 6-10" slush took over around 9300'. On the hitchhike back up to the pass, we met a refugee running from the forecast rain at Big Sky.
Glad to hear you're skiing out here, Silas!
Howdy from another Seattle-ite recently moved to Jackson... we met up on top of Silver Peak once a few years back.
