Skied a surprising quantity of good pow today, more than expected.  It snowed a few feet about two weeks ago.  It's been sunny and warm in the lowlands but powder preservation is still in effect on the high reaches of Lake Peak.

This is a fun 1600 vf powder run called Heaven's Hill.  It was quite nice today.

This is some north facing steep stuff.  Light was flat, sorry to have made it weird but YOU GOTS TO SEE THE POW.

Micah gets into some good classic NM rocky funk.  After a choke below him it turned into some sustained steep and deep hoots and hollers.  Altitude.

'Round here the pow hides in the shade even more than elsewhere.  Sunny aspect pic of yours truly from early in the day.

It was actually better today than the day it looked like this in the same area last month.

This looks fun. What is the elevation for these N facing goodies?

All skiing was done between 12,419 ft (Lake Peak) and 10,300 ft (bottom of Winsor Trail on low side of Ski Santa Fe parking lot).
