March 8, 2015, Alpental

Nothing new to report, but went up for a quick run on Alpental to get month 42 in the books as I'm leaving on a trip for the rest of the month.  Wanted to do something bigger, but dealing with a thigh injury.  Alpental ended up being a lot of fun though for the short drive.  Had to carry the skis once starting from the upper parking lot over to Meister and then upwards.  Fun corn skiing, but man is the pass in a sad state.  Was thinking about how this time last year I was skiing the backside of Snoqualmie, Granite and Humpback.  Oh well...might as well enjoy the spring/summer conditions we have and go big if you can.
