Road drivable to trailhead and bare almost to creek crossing. Firm footing, so booted to maybe 5500 before switching to skins an ski crampons. Nice views.
Variable conditions on descent, top 1000ft or so pretty good, snow wind effected, but not crusty. Breakable crust of varying degrees down until about 5000 and where aspect changed to be more southfacing it was sort of corny, but bumpy from lots of old Avi debris
