8500 ft freezing level, warm temps down low but still cool and firm above 8500 thanks to 14mph from the west. High Cirrus from the west filtered sun slightly in the afternoon. Had a nice lunch at Muir before dropping into the main chute at aboot 13:30hrs.

Soft snow made for good turns with a little sluff management needed on the steeper pinch. Not exactly corn, but definately a fun surfy feel on wide skis. Watched some skiers exit the Wilson and Nisqually Glaciers after a successful summit ski via Fuhrer Finger. They reported soft snow but not corn on the Fuhrer.
Looks great!  What time did the gate open for you guys?

0830hrs - The feds are getting sporty with the longer daylight hours!
