Road is snow free. Trail is snow free to the last creek crossing at treeline.
Crevasses filled in, we skied up and down unroped. Good skiing from the Baker-Colfax col. Pumice Ridge and Roman Wall is all sorts of variable snow (sastrugi, patches of thin windslab, boiler plate, boiler plate with embedded glass like water droplets). Booted it from the col to just above the rim at the top of Roman Wall.
Skied from the summit but sideslipped 2/3 of Roman Wall. The lower third was not enjoyable either. But the views were worth it.
Skiing from the col back to camp and to snowline was much better.
