With "11 inches" of new on the Timberline board with 2" of water equivalent, we made a dawn patrol this morning to harvest the most-dense of powders before it was converted by the death star into unseasonable corn.

Significant wind load favored E'ly aspects as always, with a dense but not terribly cohesive slab over a base of saturated loose rounds. We decided that with a hard-to-predict hazard providing a low probability of large avalanches, we'd do some meadow skipping.

Skiing was best in moderately wind-effected areas with a more dense snowpack.
