The weekend looked like a storm fest - but with such varying types of weather we couldn't figure out quite where to head.  Finally after checking telemetry, weather reports - dealing with the onset of colds/flu we decided to try something to the east side of Stevens Pass, as much exploratory and anything.  We stopped in at the Yodelin Parking lot and saw some friends heading up that way.

All in all not bad day out - while the brush was high, there was enough snow coverage to get some skiing in - we found some areas with decent coverage, not too many downed trees, boot high powder and no avy concerns - it at least made for a fun day out.  However coverage is low as expected, the new snow was doing a nice job of adding, though with warming temperatures predicted it was hard to know how Sunday was going to turn out...

No avy concerns we could see - but we could feel the new snow building on top of the older crust, more open areas were nicer to ski.
