Dec 28-30, 2014, Baker cold environs

Since Radka already posted for Sun/Tue, this is just for additional photos.  David and I spent two night in his Westfalia van on the upper lot.  There were a few campers and usual mid-night car-spinners.  It got pretty cold, and was 7F on Tue am.  We both decided my sleeping bag is not winter-rated (from Swallow's Nest long time ago).

Did an afternoon tour up Mazama Dome, not knowing Radka's group was ahead of us.  They seemed to have started under blue sky.  It was overcast and some snow for us, however the snow was very nice.

Monday, ended up touring around in Wells creek basin trying to get on Laciocarpa Ridge.  Little wind action in the morning:

Got some nice skiing:

Nice sunset but skied out w/ headlamps:

Tuesday, Radka joined us to tour onto Ptarmigan Ridge; no trail-breaking, just followed other guys!!
