Anyone have experience with the Osprey ABS compatible packs? The zipper on my older osprey failed, so I can get a new pack and I am debating between the abs compatible Kode 22+10 and the standard Kode 32. The abs base unit runs ~$900 and would not be included. The abs version gives up the a-frame carry for compress-ability and the back panel swap zippers.
I am leaning towards the standard pack because I like a-frame carry for spring approaches. The ABS base unit is also close to double the price of a BCA float pack so selling the warranty pack for cash towards a bca is an option as well.
