Above Cooper Pass, we could drive a 4x4 Silverado to about 4400'. Skied the road on snowmobile tracks to the trailhead and carried on south a mile or so. Abundant sunshine with great views of the peaks around us. Still thin coverage in the woods but the road shoulders skied nicely with a couple of inches fluff and hoar frost on a base. The drive out made interesting with a bobcat running across the road and some kid's truck in the ditch.
