It was a slippery, snowy drive from Silverdale to Post Angeles.  The ranger at the booth assured us there was an upside-down snowfall---accumulation along the coast, but not much more up on the Ridge.  After my wife and I did a short hike to Sunrise Point, I happened to notice that our skis were in the car.  :D  The 10 degree temperature gave very light powder, but only about 6-8" atop a base of grasses and dirt.  I did 2 laps on the Lodge Run of about 300' each, stopping when I heard the clattering sound of stones massaging my bases.  Not much coverage, but the sparkilng clear views and first freshies for us this season made for a nice day out.
It was fun seeing you guys up there on Saturday. Jan and I went back up on Sunday for another snowshoe hike out along Sunrise Ridge. Seeing some of our favorite runs turning white is definitely making us anxious for a couple big dumps so we can break out the skis!

I was wondering if anyone was making turns up there. Thanks for the report!

Don't bring your Goodes out of storage yet, Doug  ;)

But don't we all love the Ridge in those crisp conditions???
