I took three laps on Pacific Crest -- with the brush cropped close that was plenty of coverage. Heavy mixed snow and that which must not be named during my first lap, lighter during the second and fairly clear conditions on the 3rd. Snow was kinda heavy and coverage was good enough that I wished I brought my fat skiis instead of my rock skiis.
There was a skiier triggered slab release on the steep slope below the lift shack -- nobody got hurt, but good reminder that even in early season to think about snow stability.
Ran into Ron and Jennette and their crew on the third lap --- it was great to see Ron still getting after it.
