I grew up skiing Killington and Mt. Snow. Never thought I'd see reference to them here on TAY. Thanks for the memory trip. Way to get some snow!

I never thought I'd be posting anything about Killington here either.  Today was even crazier:  two feet of freshies on top of the base from the weekend storm.  Video coming up soon...
(They finally took down the "summer adventure" sign and are desparately trying to open the ski area for the weekend -- the irony is that they have lots of snow, but are short on staff.)
Is the manmade glacier coming in on Superstar yet?

They have yet to even turn on the snowguns anywhere.
I didn't hit up that area of the mtn - lower elevation, and very exposed to wind.  Upper Killington Peak, Glades area, upper Snowdown, all completely "in" even though only October.
Driving back home, 3000' lower by the gondola base, completely bare.

I am deeply jealous.

And I suppose that this is the day after tomorrow, no?  :)

Enjoy it!
