It looks like the two main choices for skiing or riding given our weather pattern the last few weeks is either Heliotrope Ridge or the Muir Snowfield. Based on the trip reports from Heliotrope Ridge this past Friday and Saturday, it looks like the Muir Snowfield was the preferred destination. A few people even managed to ski down the Nisqually chute. The snow was continuous down to around 7,200 feet. A few brave souls willing to risk their bases did ski and ride down another 500 or so vertical feet.
