I gave up on trying to write detailed trip reports long ago.  I will say the steep climb down from Hogsback camp was the biggest challenge of the day.

Is tucking really worth the vertical effort?

For me, getting my endurance exercise is climbing the vertical.  For me, going fast and getting air is my way of escaping the deep valleys of life.  I like to look at it as giving myself a natural anti-depressant, the faster and bigger I go, the bigger dose I give myself.

TAY=Tucks All Year

Why not?

Looks like fun :)

every moment he is in the tuck his world must shine bright!
bet it is worth every bead of sweat and miles driven.
thanks for sharing, Donnelly

Nice job getting after those early turns!! I enjoyed the tuck as well! 8)

You guys tore it up.

so conditions look pretty decent considering the time of year.  But has anyone been venturing farther up the mountain, possibly summit via the Coleman Deming, or is the glacier still somewhat destroyed by the summer?

How do you think conditions will be up there this weekend?  Looks like temperatures were warmer this week, so I'm guessing they got some rain at the end of the week along with high winds.  Also, Glacier Creek Rd/NF-39 is open again after last year's closure, right?
