Got some October turns in on the Muir Snowfield today. This would have marked my first ever full year of turns all year, but unfortunately I missed August this year. With October on the books I'm hopeful that by next October I'll have my first year.
It was raining pretty hard at the parking lot which continued all the way up to around Panorama Point. After this we were greeted with a brief period of sun, which lasted for a few minutes before becoming cloudy. Started skinning around Pebble Creek. We continued up to around 8150' then turned around as heavy clouds were quickly rolling in. Found great snow making for a very enjoyable ride down. All in all a great day.
