Perhaps my longest approach walk ever for turns. Three hours to 3200' just below the viewpoint I finally had enough snow to begin skinning. After about 1500' alone, the conditions and last week's avalanche deaths suggested a turnaround. The skiing was ok, but the views were unbeatable.
Just got an email asking me to upload the view. Here 'tis!

Awesome. Still living in your tent, or did you meet people?

Great photo. Jill and I stopped a long way before your climb and did not carry the skis. :)

You turned around before the Whillans Ramp?!  ;)

For sure I thought of Andreas, what a line to ski!
