This makes for 30 months in a row, perhaps my longest streak in terms of months.  I'm kind of liking these semi smooth conditions but with some ice to make things more challenging and fast.  Trail is in great shape with no obstacles.  It is around 850 vertical feet of sustained skiing from the high point on the ridge. I would highly recommend crampons if hiking up the steeper sections of the route as there are areas of glazed ice.

Wow that's brave.  The Heliotrope Super G does not look like a forgiving course  ;)

If you're that "Jones'd" for skiing, I suggest the "Cashmere Bootpack" as an alternative. Obstacle free, should consider "Wenatchee Crampons" if frosted, and could make for a very fast descent with a single misstep! No skis required and unlimited vertical with "runs" up to 1,500' plus!

I really enjoyed how you checked your watch mid speed descent!  Fun stuff.

How far up did you have to go until you hit snow?

My GPS read 6,200 feet when I hit snow that was continuous.
