A 2 hour pedestrian stroll along Ptarmigan ridge yielded a consistent 600ft shot of skiing. Found that we had to hike out further along Ptarmigan ridge this year to find any continuous snow. About half hour past the "Mt Shuksan hairpin"
The snow was fairly well sun cupped and bumpy and didn't really soften that much underneath a warm September sun.
The bounty of blueberries along the trail was phenomenal and we found ourselves at regular pit stops for harvesting and eating! The lake just behind the ridge where we skiied also delivered delightfully refreshing swimming!
