Long walk from 4th Crossing to skinnable snow. Beautiful wildflowers on the route though. The recent rains smoothed out the glacier itself; very few tracks, insignificant suncups on the glacier proper. Some sticky fresh snow in thin patches in places, up high.
Crevasses are opening, but we were able to skin all the way to Anvil Rock no problem.
Only a few folks on the Paradise, but the view of the Muir from the top of Paradise showed the snowfield to be pretty busy.

Skinnable without carries from Sluiskins chair at 6000'. Very smooth and not sticky skiing after 4pm for us.
