I skied the King Line of Southwest Chutes yesterday in good, stable conditions. I spent the night below Lunch Counter and had some nice views of Hood and St. Helens. Snow was down to within 600' of the Round The Mountain Trail. Thunderstorms were forecast, but there was no sign of any weather until some light clouds showed up on my drive back to Olympia.
