A lot of walking and some good skiing today. Skied from the base of the summit block to the lower angle part of Sahale Arm, probably about 2500 out of 5300 total. Upper slope was steep and fun, dirty snow made it a little grabby. Middle section was very good and then small sun cups at the last.

Saw a lot of goats, one group had 8 total with 2 young ones.
Good looking trip, Peter!

Sounds like you were able to ski down to 6500ish? Just 3000'ft of hiking to get to snow? Not too badLOL

Nice trip.  I like the goat picture.

Yeah, ski from the car with tourists at Muir, or hike 3K to ski with goats at Sahale.

Couple more goat pics, and a grouse?

Thanks John, any chance you will be getting out again soon?

Probably not in the immediate future - full days away from the house are few and far between with the new baby.
