WA Cascades West Slopes South (Mt Rainier)

Beautiful hot sunny day. We (Jeremy and I) descended SW Chutes at about 1:00pm. Great smooth snow at the top but getting slushy further down. We started off big slushy streams of snow as we skied, a bit unerving. Should have maybe started an hour earlier. We were able to traverse back up to Crescent with 3 or 4 short carries. From there we skied to whithin 100 yards of the Round The Mountain Junction. Great day.
