Before dropping off my parents at SeaTac at 4:45 AM, I had the presence of mind to throw the tools into their van and take the sunrise drive to Alpy parking lot. After the 40 minute walk just beyond the Snow Lake/Source Lake intersection, I found the snow finger I'd seen about 10 days before. 2 laps of 150 vert with a 5 minute walk back to the top, I got month 201 on the books. Beautiful morning, and saw that the alluvial fan above the lake proper is still holding a nice run of 400-500 vert, and likely nice corn. But, better get it while you can! Happy Independence Day!!
