Christa and I attempted the White Salmon route on Adams.  We left from Williams Mine Sat morning and make it to 5600' before putting on skis.  We skinned then to 6800' for camp and made it to 9200' before turning around at 7 PM.  We had a beautiful sunset and awesome weather.  The snow was great for skiing and we will be back for more days next summer.

Does anyone know what the top of the White Salmon is like to access the summit?  It looked like there might have been a big schrund and a steeper headwall up there.  Any beta would be appreciated.
I skied from the top of White Salmon in early July of 2012, and I do not  recall it being too steep, maybe 35 - 40 degrees towards the top. As for the schrund, we were able to easily go around it.  It has been two years, so the schrund maybe different now.

No obvious showstoppers when viewed from afar/below.

Way to use the trailhead less-traveled!
