Got out on Snow Dome on the Summer Solstice! The Cloud Cap Road is still closed (any word on when it will reopen?). That adds around 3 miles of trail hiking before you hit snow. Once you get up there, it is worth it. Corn started to prime up around 11:30 and stayed good through 1:30 when we skied off the top of the Dome. We didn't see anyone else up there...where is everybody?

A few days ago when I called up the Hood River station for an update on the road to Cloud Cap:
