Rain?  Sleet?  Snow?  Climbing in a cloud?  Sounds like a good time to go climb something steep.

Cliff notes, summer lot at Cascade Pass is open.  Snow is still continual to the switch back on road, for now.  Snow connections at the steeper pitch up valley are melting out rapidly.  Glide cracks on smoother rock sections.

Nice meeting you at the TH.  We were the guys who spent a couple of nights above the pass.  Even with all the rain and no viability (until we pack up to head out), it seems both our groups had a great time.

Fun watching you ski down.  You don't know until you go what the weather holds.

Good luck with the VW.

G'damn. That does look steep.

Wow, that is steep - and colourfull, top knackers!

Great chatting in the parking lot.  Really is awesome to see other people get after it regardless of the forecast, any weather on the mountain beats a day on the couch!

That VW is currently down at Adams where Frank and the tutus all year crew are dealing with skiing in perfect weather, while I am at work contemplating whether it's time to start buying lotto tickets  ::)

Thanks for a great time Nick! And for introducing me to team tutu.
