Hopped on Pro Guiding's Baker in a day trip today. Leaving Seattle at 2am was no fun but skiing was really really good. We must have headed down around 2pm and the snow was great until just before the snow line. I think we lucked out with the clouds preventing things from getting too mushy. Still can't believe how good the skiing was!
Your group must have been that large group I past at around the 8,500 foot level. Visibility turned out much better than I was anticipating.
