Day off easy day trip with Florian.  Subaru to Windy pass, no problem; 1/4 mile walk to skinnable snow on the road system.  10 feet of forest duff, otherwise continuous snow into the main W basin.  W slopes of Silver are toasted. Annette was basically snow-free.  My first time doing a continuous descent down the E "lobe" of the N basin back to Ollalie: thanks Jeff for the advice!  It went through, barely, and was so good we had to go back and do it again. The snow was decent, protected in the trees a little.  Despite runnels the snow was predictable and malleable, perfect for low-speed turn milking.
