Skiing at Mission Ridge isn't over quite yet.  The parking lot was full, but I think everyone was hiking to Lake Clara.  Coron Polley and I had the place to ourselves for 4 of our 5 runs off the Microwave ridge.  The only other person we saw on the hill was three time Olympian, Torin Koos, who shared our first run with us.  We saw him later going uphill, and as you'd expect, he goes uphill fast.  We skied Bowl 4 on the way out, and with a combination of short carry, one ski hops, and full-on grass skiing, we were able to ski to the base area.

Here is a bird I haven't seen before at Mission Ridge.  It looked like a kite in flight, a big triangle for the wings and a smaller triangle aft.  Anyone want to I.D. it for me?

This was our fourth run, locals call it "Last Tree"

and here is video from the day:

So much fun at a spot that most people have written off as done for the year.
Just started birding, and I have fun trying to ID from others pictures.  Your bird looks like an immature Sharp-Shinned Hawk.  Particularly if it was smallish.  If it seemed larger, then possibly an immature Cooper's Hawk, which also has yellow eyes.  But I think the former, because of where you saw it.
