I thought I was going to have to hike all the way to Emerald Lake, but half way there the trail crosses a decent snowpatch. Though it's about 800 vft, only the middle to top 350 vtf provides decent skiing. The rest of the patch is densly studded with rocks and dirt.

Amazing to ski with the fall colors. This is my 12th month of skiing in a row so it was quite a finale!

Thanks for the killer year round chat board!

Welcome, James.
And congradulations on your 12 month streak!
We'll look forward to hearing more from the Wasatch contingent.

Thanks. I see how year round turns can get addicitive.

We need to get a Utahn on your "year round skier" roster!!!!

FF

Congrats, FF! The more Utahns the better, as far as I'm concerned . . . come to think of it, I was one for a while.

Nice website, too!

Ahhh, It is always great to see the Wasatch contingent posting here.

We haven't had much of a chance back in Utah to ski this late so that is awesome!!!!!

Should you ever find yourself up here in Seattle, definitely look me up as I am a former Wasatch tele freak.

I think I am the only Utahn that is a regular on this board and I have had the pleasure to ski with a bunch of the gang here. These people are great!!

Keep the streak going.

Bry
