Skied from top of the couloir in mid afternoon. Schrund still passable on climbers' left. Utilized bootpack from the group of 8 Californians camped out on the north side, attempting various routes this week.

Hoped to make the summit but ran out of time. The Mountaineers Creek approach is longer than I remember!

Top of the couloir skied well but soft with some sluff / slush management. Turns down low on the shaded side were great - steep and edgeable. Glacier was a bit sticky due to the late hour of the day.

Awesome Awesome Awesome!  Beautiful pics.  Makes me wish I was there right now (of course right now I think it is raining up there).  Awesome.

Great pics.  Just looking at that bootpack makes my toes sore.

right on, Pete, was wondering what you'd be slaying in those parts.

Booyah Pete!
Hopefully there's still time for us to get out for a slide this year.

Indeed! Have been very much enjoying the reports of your various adventures this spring.
