Beer n sausage fest at 5000'. Drivable to 3600' with high clearance pickup. Grabby snow below 4500', 1" corn before noon on west slopes, 2-3" afternoon.

Thanks for the PSA, this area is a special local gem indeed!
Now that the Silver Peak gang-bang is officially going to kick-off with the 'drive-able to almost pass level' announcement, please remember to be good stewards when the parking lot parties start moving up onto the slopes and N. ridge. The last two seasons in particular have allowed our crew to ski out an unfortunate amount of trash, which included the obvious beer cans & bottles, food packaging and my favorite last year...a grill grate. This is unfortunate but expected in the Alpental and Summit lots (feel free to bring an empty plastic bag and fill it each time you're hiking Alpie!), but unacceptable up in the playground.
