It is last call for Silver Fir. We were able to start skinning just a few steps from the patio. Technically there was continuous snow but a couple of short sections down low were best navigated on dirt. Snow is melting fast. Maybe 100 meters in the snow swatch widens.
The kids loved all the running water and laughed when snow bridges broke beneath us. The ski down was fun and the snow was very skiable, not sticky like I was expecting.

Sorry I didn't check out road 9070. But I see from another post you might be headed that way. Please report back with your findings if you go.
