I had a late morning start and the early starters said it was better up high than the lower half.  I saw 2 guys pack there skis and moved quickly in the deep snow.  The skinners ahead of me were fast.  I followed the line that Craig Dostie the former owner of Couloir magazine, slow line and no kick turns. I am trying. I am slow and the mountains have not moved, yet.  I skied the trails that were in the shade and it was easier on the turns and knees. The open slopes near the base that were skied were also nice to follow the €œgroomed€  skier and boarders lines. I like more skinners on my €œlines€.  ;)
