Nice Day on Rainier. I had never been to Little T via Paradise so it was nice to see some new terrain. Snow conditions were good but could still use a few freeze thaw cycles to corn up a bit. We bailed at a nice bench at about 10,500 due to some hovering mid level clouds that were threatening to sock in the peak and were actively turning our nice shmooe descent down the steep upper Whitman glacier into breakable crust. The last 600' to the summit looked to be pretty straightforward right now with a mix of snow and rock, much of it skiable. 12 hours car to car with a strong group.
