May 3, 2014, Paulina Peak

Originally wanted to do the South Sister or something on Broken Top but the forecast didn't look like there would be good visibility during our time at Smith. We heard the road was plowed to Paulina Peak so we headed over there for a quicky. Took the long way up. Started by following the summit road then switched over to skinning up the rim. Snow was good except for some old pin wheels that mucked up the center of the chute. Wasn't quite corn with only one day of freezing temps but the free water was starting to freeze up.

Got bombarded today by shots of overhead pow in the Canadian Rockies. Maybe I should have stayed there....
