On our last day of the 2014 Canmore Skimo Camp we once again went for a ramp line in the Kananaskis  Range. The reason we kept going to the Kananaskis Range for the past week is because the high elevation and sheltered to wind loaded NW facing ramps prevalent in this range were simply holding the best snow that we were able to find.

The ridge line running east off of Mt. Chester holds 5 chutes on it which get smaller the further east one goes down the ridge. We were originally going to ski chute #2 which we had skied earlier in the week but another group beat us to it in the morning. We instead traveled down valley to chute #3 which is fairly small sitting in around 300m vertical. The ski was predictably great with soft snow and minimal wind.
