North face at near 7000 ft had a few inches of nice creamy fresh. Dug a pit on the south facing bowl and found some real unsettled not quite sugary snow under the 5 inch wind slab that went down a foot and half at least.
skied a small crown slide on a NE facing steep shot at about 6300 ft which was a bit of a surprise, but all went well.
Heading back to the resort on the NE face of Gunsight lots of tracks, with no slides but watched a volunteer ski patroler with his kid who was probably 9 or 10 ski that bowl with no beacons, shovels or probes.
Pretty good ski day all in all.

LOCATION?
It's the Hogback bowl of Hogback Peak and the cordillera that runs for about a mile or more just a hop skip and a jump from chair 6 of white pass ski area. A primo spot that stays untraveled due to the $50 lift ticket for those without a season pass.
