It felt like late a late February day. Found about 4 inches new in near empty but chilly Stevens north lot. Telemetry seemed about right as maybe 9 inches at 5200'. Few hasty pits showed right side snow pack as was a bit slushy on top of fairly firm crust, then drier on top. Did some ski cuts on 35+ degree slopes and nothing moved. NW and N runs in spaced trees yielded nice fluffy turns. I expected more sun so tried to stay off sun affected aspects. Snow showers most of the day with a few filtered sunbreaks.  A few folks went over and did some nice turns on Tye Peak SE face. Lower exit SE ridge run turned to fully set Cascade cement below the T-Mobile tower. My few peeks at the lifts did not show many customers. Upper Big Chief Bowl looked juicy!

If the snow level stays at the predicted 4k tomorrow, it might be worth a visit but as usual, YMMV.  No folks looking for lesson in these parts. ;)
Hey, Nick:  Good to know you are getting out  :)
