April 12, 2014 Muir to Bridge + VIDEO
« on: 04/14/14, 10:46 AM »

Great day with Chris, Charlie, and a few others such as Stephanie, Zach, and the crew with Rusty Knees.  Snow softened up to about 9k.  Nisqually chute skied like something I'll call "powder corn".  Maybe that's just what it felt like on fatties but it skied well down to about 4800-5000.

Had felt like trying Wilson Glacier and Van Trump but periodic clouds and fog and then perceived increased avi danger in the area of the Wilson fan scared me out of trying it.

That WAS a fun day!
Nice to meet you Jamie. We were the "Bozos" in your video. I even made the edit! Small world, eh?   Wink

No, I'm not a telephone solicitor.  I ski with my heels free.

yeah, for a second there i was in a 'no friends on powder day' mode.  i get that way when a sweet chute is just sitting there all pristine like...i just wanted to ski all over her ramps and runnels.....

@Dave:  Summit Attempt?

@Kneel Turner: your knee dropping looked more refined than mine on this particular run...
