West facing slopes 4400-6000' were pretty stiff 9-1030AM, NE facing slopes above 6000' had a dusting of snow providing good grip until we were on blown free slopes which did not handle crampons well for this old guy.  Booting was tough, 1/4" breakable crust over 2' of wet sloppy snow.

From 1200-1230PM, SE slopes had 1-2" ski penetration corn 6500'-6100', and more like 6" penetration for 95mm skis below that altitude.  After 1230, west facing slopes skied very nicely 1/2" corn on a firm base 6000-4400'.  Proper aspect makes for proper attitude in the absence of senior sitting girls.  :)   https://vimeo.com/91891862

Met ddk at the base apres our ski tour, decked out in hawaiian shirt, extolling the virtues of skier compacted inbounds slopes and chicken noodle soup.  Then at Enumclaw, we enjoyed a brief chat with Mrs Ferk.  Great getting to know the locals.
