Saturday we dodge the rain and skied up the Mazama Bowl area by Mt. Herman. The weather was actually sunny in the morning and the snow skied fine. Around 1pm a late season blizzard hit and snow got heavy and wet quick. We Found a great line to exit the bowl and ski back to the car.
On slopes above 25 degrees we experience some fluffing but only recent snow showed any signs of reaction. But we had no intent to push our luck on steeper stuff.
Hit up Boundary Bay Brewing on the way back. Always a pleasure to have Fantastic Brews to end the day.
