Skied well in 20 to 40 cm recycled powder from 6400 to 4800 on a bulletproof crust (no deep layer hazard here).  Then got a bit damp in the snowpack below 4800.  East facing exit to Henry basin was sunwarmed firmness.  New "runs' at the bottom courtesy of Longview Fibre skied like fast corn.
Of note: from probable west winds, we found more wind effected variable firmness in the powder on the far east (skiers right) of main face.  Far skiers left (west side of face) was dreamy.
Also, it's been hit hard this weekend.  With warm airt days previous tracks tend to stiffen and get hard this late in the season but are blowing in with spindrift.

What can be better than limitless views, cold snow and warm sun!
We were up the same day and I think we saw you guys way up on the ridge top and then skiing down the east side. I drew similar conclusions regarding the snow quality, although the treed ridge on the skier's right held up well.

Nice, John! I took in those endless views from the lift tops at Stevens all day Friday, wishing I'd made B/C plans instead.
