'06 Black Diamond Skis

Hello, <br><br>Looking to replace my Rossi XXX-AT setup (blown rail+slop in bindings=rock skis).<br><br>I'm intriqued by the new Black Diamond Verdict (190 cm). My fiance skis the BD Crossbow on on AT setup, she has loved them, and they seemed quite durable. <br><br>Any word on these skis? Anyone using a 185+ BD Havoc with Fritschi bindings<br><br>Compared to Volkl Mantra (190cm) or the new Rossi B4?<br><br>Cheers, <br><br>Jim

I use a pair of Volant Machete Sin skis with Bomber Bishop bindings for lift access. (As you mentioned - blown rail+slop in bindings=rockskis).<br><br>I'm looking at getting a pair of BD Havoc for lift access and a pair of BD Crossbow for backcountry - tried both, the Havoc is fairly heavy for trekking - great for on piste!<br><br>I have deals with Head, Atomic and Salomon - Does anyone know if Black Diamond is by themselves or are they owned by anyone?

I'm not sure of ownership status, but i believe BD skis are made by Atomic, or in their factory.

Word on the street is that the 190 is super stiff, but hand flexing didn't give me that impression, for what it's worth (not much).

BD skis are made by Atomic, or in their factory.
